Online maps have become increasingly important to user-friendly Web sites. To make Foundation the best at handling location and address information, we enabled several key features that would ensure that location information was both easy to use and higly scalable. Google mapping services have rapidly become the benchmark for their ease of use and quality of data. Foundation automatically links with Google mapping API to both display location maps and create and update the address information that is stored in your sites database. When you create or update an address the software will automatically query Google and get back precise geographic location data (longitude, latitude) for the location you have entered. This allows quick and easy updating of any map on your site.

Multiple Locations?
If your business or organization has multiple locations it's not a problem for Foundation CMS. A good example of this is our recent re-launch of SaveMart Supermarkets which has over 100 stores, each with their own location map, store info, staff, and hours of operation. All the information you see on these pages is completely editable by SaveMart staff.
